Great Room Theater

These clients bought a new build track home and wanted to make changes that fit their lifestyle. They both listen to music via streaming, CD, and Vinyl, and are avid movie fans with a large DVD collection. Together, we created a system that combined the ability to use all physical and streaming media while making it easy to use with Control4.

Originally, the plan was a large L-shaped couch, but these theater style chairs were purchased instead. By adding two rows, it can be difficult for anyone in the back row to see. We added in a custom riser with sound dampening to elevate the back row. Considering the poor acoustics in an open room that includes a kitchen, dining room, and sitting room, acoustic panels were also added in this theater to help eliminate echo.
